Know Jesus
The Gospel is at the very heart of everything Awana does. It's the best news in the world, and it's for kids, parents and everyone in between.
The Gospel Wheel
Awana uses a simple tool called the Gospel Wheel to share the good news straight from Scripture. It's about who God is, who we are, what Jesus did, and how we respond.
God's character
God is perfectly loving. He loves you so much that He gave His only Son for you (John 3:16).
God is also perfectly holy. He is completely good and pure, with no sin at all (Revelation 4:8).
Our character
Every one of us has sinned by disobeying God and going our own way (Romans 3:23).
Sin separates us from a holy God, and its cost is death. But God offers a free gift: eternal life through Jesus (Romans 6:23).
God's action
Because God loves us, He sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sin. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us on the cross (Romans 5:8).
Three days later, He rose from the dead, defeating sin and death forever.
Our action
We can't earn God's gift. Our one and only part is to trust in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again (Acts 16:31).
When we trust Him, we're forgiven and brought into God's family forever.

Trusting Jesus is the biggest decision anyone can make, and it's something to celebrate!
